  I dont trust anyone!

  humans cant be trusted thats my attitude!!!!

  i say this because its true, think about it takes years to get to know someone, maybe 10 years later you may say i really trust this person or persons,but all sudden those you thought you could trust do something to hurt you,betrayal,theft,backstabbing,assault,dishonesty,liar,deception,etc.even on here i dont really know any of you, all i do is just type and that suits me, you seem to be people of all walks of life some upset,confused,happy etc.but that doesnt mean what you say in your words reflects the "real you" .whether you belive in god or evolution etc it makes no difference we all have imperfect desires in us and give it the right moment and they may be unleashed,you may think im paranoid but "im not" i just dont have much trust for humans good or bad and i dont even trust myself sometimes.

  personally, i do not believe god ever has or ever will exist.

  i have my reasons -- i guess i could be considered an agnostic, rather than an athiest.

  i was curious to see what the larger part of the former borg community believed, now looking from the outside in, rather than the opposite.

  just a quickie, as far as the date - 1975 - is concerned, was there ever a printed document through the wts that stated that this year would be the absolute final date for the big a ?.

  or was it just rumours amongst the brothers ?.

  just interested (sorry if this has been mentioned 1000 times before, but i'm new here you see & all that).. .

  i found out today that there is a new insert in the kingdom ministry coming up which is all about how to treat disfellowshipped ones.

  aparrently they are clamping down on it big time.

Leaping out of a room quickly if one happens to be eating a bag of crisps, whilst (God forbid) a DF JW sits down with a sandwich in the same room?   the jws have been happily proseletyzing & lying about thier 'faith" for a while now, until someone alerted some other people.there are about 5 or 6 whitewashing the truth about their practices in order to gain converts & sumpathy.

  Seeking your opinions on contacting relatives

  it's been eight years since i have spoken to any of my relatives.

  some (cousins, nieces, nephews) were young children at the time; now some are 18 and older.

  they are not allowed to speak to me, but of course those rules don't apply in the reverse.

  I am in agreement here - maybe a letter from the heart and see what reaction (if any) you get and leave the ball firmly in their collective court. At least then they will know that you are thinking of them.

  let's all help bill bowen with his great work by taking copies of the dateline and panorama to our local newspapers and enfazing children's safety.

  this is a good time since there have been so many child abductions in the media.

  no one wants pedophiles knocking in their door at their home.

  The fact is, you are probably living in the same area as a practising paedophile anyway. It is not an easy problem to make go away and sending letters to the newspapers is unlikely to make a jot of difference. They jump on this juicy news, but rarely do you see positive action on the back of such sensationalism. What will it achieve? A JW gets the shit kicked out of him by the local thug, who can't reason beyond the headlines. Great!

  Saying things like - we don't want paedophiles knocking on our doors - is a little bit over the top.

  Remember to stay balanced. Not every JW is a paedophile or indeed holds with that disgusting behaviour.

  would just like to say that i have spent hours reading material on this web site.

  just would like to also say that i am still one of jehovah's witnesses.

  if jehovah's witnesses are truly distructive and to familys as well then i would like to know please, how on earth is the association of brothers going to stay together, if it is really destructive?

  The *Dark Sinister Arguments* sentence is amusing. I would say, personally, reasoning without constraint.

  The spelling and grammar is dreadful throughout. I do have problems with spelling on occasion, it is wise to use a dictionary or spell checker.

  Some members of this board do go over the top with their harsh remakes towards the WTS, but if you study threads and learn to ignore certain posters, you will find a glimmer of truth within. A truth that the society does not allow.
